Retrospection

In this episode we are lucky to be joined by Judy Matheson. Judy stars in the films Lust for a Vampire, Twins of Evil, The Exquisite Cadaver, and many others. She also appeared in some of our favourite TV shows including The Professionals, The Sweeney and Blake's 7. Judy discusses her theatrical beginnings, her movies and shows, and her work as a continuity announcer in the eighties for Television South. In this episode we're on a stake out out with American 1970s cops, Starsky and Hutch. Along the way we find out which one of has soul and who would rather take a sauna with a Crime Lord than go out and catch the criminals. We're back with a new series of Retrospection. In this episode we're taking a look at the pilot episode of T. J Hooker, the crime fighting TV series which ran from 1982 to 1986. Along the way we learn to never order chicken from Burger Heaven, marvel at the deep storylines of characters that will never appear in the series, and learn the truth about why T.J. hooker was divorced. Nothing says Christmas more than a stoned Californian wearing spandex. Join us as we unseasonably ring in the holidays with Captain America from 1979. Along the way Paul loses the ability to remember the name Steve Rogers, we marvel at his massive helmet and ponder how this ever got a sequel. In this episode we're having a 10-20 with Gerry Anderson's final puppet series, Terrahawks, from 1983. Along the way we ponder why androids need genitalia, why is Dr. Ninestein a complete tool, and remember the old children's magazine "Look-In". Opening music is the theme from the show by Richard Harvey, and the closing music is the Japanese version opening soundtrack.

In this episode we're taking a shot at the American TV series the A-Team, which ran from 1983 to 1987. Along the way we discover Colin's trigger word, that Onions of Acting would be his autobiography, and that Paul is strong to the beer and has a whole sordid history of despicable behaviour with Action Men.
