This Episode - We join the perils of Moonbase Alpha as they find themselves spiraling out of Earth's orbit in Sylvia and Gerry Anderson's, Space 1999 (1975-77). Retrospection - EP.50 - Flash Gordon (1980)

In this episode we're taking a look at Flash Gordon from 1980. The campy scifi extravaganza that pits humanity against the merciless Ming. This was Wayne's second attempt at a Dirty Harry type film and co-stars Richard Attenborough. Join us as we discuss the Duke himself, our love for 1970s cop films and whether you can cal yourself a professional hitman if you always miss. Retrospection - Ep.47 - Return of Swamp Thing (1989)

In this episode we take a look at The Return of Swamp Thing from 1989. This Jim Wynorski comic book movie is a very loose sequel to Wes Craven's original, and is very different in tone and look. But does it hold up for us today? Along the way Paul battles with Swamp Thing Dookie, Colin remembers the great punk 'Rob Genitals', and both argue about fruity cheesecake. Retrospection - Ep.46 - Cherry 2000 (1987)

In this episode we join Sam Treadwell as he searches for the perfect woman in the cult classic, Cherry 2000, from 1987. Along the way we discover that Paul considers himself a gourmet, and wants a certain robot for Christmas. While Colin reveals a shocking lack of knowledge about barbed wire (not the film, the object). Music is from the Cherry 2000 soundtrack music suite by Basil Poledouris.

In a change to our scheduled episode, while Colin is off on a secret 00 mission, Paul is joined by guest presenter Adam. Adam discusses his love of no-brain 90s action movies whilst Paul's sobriety is once again called into question.
